Water continually running down road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 14:36, Friday 3 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Water runs continuously and causing a pot hole which is getting worse, leading to difficulties in getting in and out of my driveway. It’s made worse in winter along with me being disabled which is not helping. This is a problem that not always been there and is getting worse as the weather deteriorates.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Oxfordshire County Council at 14:36, Friday 3 January 2025

  • Water on the road is freezing - now extremely dangerous. Slippy for cars and impassable for pedestrians and cyclists. A family member has nearly slipped this week whilst walking.

As motorists/users are not expecting it on the bend, it has the potential to call an accident.

  • This continues to be extremely hazardous, this is very dangerous and the school children are walking in this, there is no pavement and is not currently safe. Please can this issue be addressed as soon as possible to prevent an awful accident.
