  • This is a continual problem that every time there is some rain the road floods. The road is covered in debris from multiple flooding events and it is dangerous, not only for road users, but especially for pavement/cycle way users. This urgently needs resolving with better drainage. A simple drain running under the pavement into the meadows on the other side of the Blenheim wall would fix it. In the meantime the road is getting destroyed and more major remedial work will be required

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Main Road to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Woodstock and Bladon is scheduled for gully emptying in the first quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
