Still Flooded! September report was marked as "Fixed", but it wasn't.

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 22:52, Thu 19 December 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Road & footway flooded again today after last night's light showers. The drain obviously wasn't cleaned, as it is still brim full.

  • Or because the river is running "high", there is insufficient "fall" in the drainage pipe to allow it to flow ... ? Like certain surface water drains in Witan Way (can't counter the laws of physics)

  • I think the fact it's brim-full with silt & weeds probably has more to do with it.

Maybe because "This gully was last cleaned on 11/05/2018", according to OCC.
