Dangerously slippery pavement

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 09:27, Fri 13 December 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The pavement here is very dangerous. There is slight slope so water runs down it and over time it seems that the surface has been eroded by he water to a point where it is lethal. You can see the shiny surfaces in the rain here which represent a very dangerous problem to pedestrians. It is outside of the museum and many people walk here. I have now fallen over twice and severely bruised my hip. I am a fit middle aged woman. An elderly person could easily break their hip or leg here. The area needs new pavement which has a better surface and is less dangerous.
