    Reported blocked drains and gullies in September 2024 and after Storm Bert. Large secondary school was closed to large number of pupils say after Storm Bert. Report from OCC on 6th December states issue was fixed. Unless it was cleared on 6th then the above photos show that part of the road was still flooding on evening of 5th December 2024 and into morning of 6th December 2024. All storm drains in Ruskin Road and all gullies in road need checking and clearing. This is not because of top grills being blocked. They are not draining down. This is affecting all aspects of local community. School church and residents

  • Thank you for reporting the flooding caused by blocked gullies. We are aware of the situation and have initiated a reactive gully cleaning to address the blockage.
