Lack of maintenace to road narrowing infrastucture

I am aware that the single lane barriers were installed onto Steventon railway bridge due to structural concerns of the bridge's integrity. While P24/V1189/LB to strengthen the bridge has yet to be implemented, can you arrange for someone to attend to clean the barriers of the mud which is obscuring the red/white markers and to clear the footpath and cycle path of debris? The lane restriction is a bane for all road users especially at times when the A34 is closed between Abingdon and Chilton.

  • Thank you for your report. Whilst the road was closed i attend site whilst SGN works was carried out the cycle lane was free of debris and straightened the ends of the mass barrier.
