Water sprtinging from road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This has been reported already, and the case closed because Thames Water had been called. They have examined it and do not believe it is a mains water leak. This was known during the check. The drains on this road are in a bad state of repair, as has already, separately, been reported several times. It is shambolic this case was closed when the reason given for closing it is known to be untrue, and the dangerous situation left to continue. Please investigate this urgently. Separately, I would like to make a formal complaint about how this case has been dismissed, please can this be kicked off.

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Church Street, to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Forest Hill and Holton is scheduled for gully emptying in the first quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
