Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This has resulted in our entire house being flooded, we have had to move out and will be without our home for at least 7 months. We hold the Cherwell district council responsible for.

  • As yet no one has unblocked the drains along the Banbury Road in Bloxham despite numerous complaints and yet another storm approaching today. Is there anything ever going to get done or is our home waiting to be flooded yet again, we have had to move to a Airbnb and in 3 weeks time to a 6 month long let while our home gets dried. A response from the county council would be appreciated.

  • 3rd blocked drain in a row going down the hill. There’s no drainage working here and we’re getting large puddles that splash pedestrians every time it rains. There’s school children are being soaked before arriving at school.

  • Why are the blocked roadside drains all along the Banbury Road in Bloxham not being unblocked by OCC? So many residents have reported this as a serious concern for flooding and health/safety. In addition the local MP has also raised this on behalf of residents to OCC. Please can OCC make a statement on this and inform residents what the timescale is for sorting this out.
