Grit and silt from road run-off.

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 19:14, Friday 29 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The autumn rains have brought a deluge of grit, silt and other debris from the main road (B4035) down Baker's Lane in Upper Tadmarton, past the Lampet Arms , round the corner and down to the end, outside number 3. There is now an accumulation of road debris adjacent to the storm drain at the bottom of the lane, as well as around the corner, where the public footpath to Broughton begins. This is normally cleared by the county council, but hasn't been done recently and is in danger of blocking drains and is causing flooding, not to mention inconvenience for pedestrians on the road. Please could your team come and clear this away.
