Photos taken in August. All drainage pipes to ditch from road are smashed and backwash valves not functional. This recently exacerbated the flooding of the road so that it was impassable - as reported by a a neighbour. I suspect that flow from this ditch may also be impeded downstream, allowing it to overfill.

  • Thank you for bringing the drainage issue to our attention. We are pleased to inform you that this area is scheduled for gully emptying by the fourth quarter of this financial year. Rest assured, all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area will be thoroughly cleansed within the specified time frame.
