I know we are receiving scant information about the current BT roadworks, but at the same time, there remains the issue of the 'third' manhole cover - just beyond the two currently targeted (nearer to Thame Lane) - which has dropped below the road surface and become a nasty pot hole for cars, filling up with water when wet and ice, when cold. This causes a significant safety hazard for pedestrians, who either get drenched by cars driving through the puddle, or who slip on the icy remains. Not good for car wheels/tyres either. Could we raise this third manhole with any of the contacts who are communicating with you?

114/2/2025 This third manhole cover was not fixed during the recent repairs nearer the traffic lights and is getting worse. It represents a serious safety hazard for any cyclists or motorcyclists who hit it or who swerve to avoid it.
