This drain floods every time it rains I did report it before but it is inside the drain it’s solid

  • Thank you for your enquiry , I can confirm that the gullies outside Nos 37 & 39 have been scheduled to be cleaned and jetted hopefully this will resolve the flooding issue. This work should be undertaken within 28 days

  • Blocked drain has been marked with a yellow paint arrow but, unfortunately, it's somewhere under the flood water!

  • Thank you for your report, we are now investigating this issue and an update will be posted as soon as possible.

    This photo was taken on 27 Feb some days after the most recent rainfall and was intended to show the yellow painted arrow indicating the blocked drain, but it's under the current floodwater!

  • We were promised in February that this would be fixed within a month. A team came, unclogged one drain but left the one that was causing the majority of the flooding as it "wasn't scheduled" - now that the puddled has finally gone, it is a prime opportunity to fix the problem and the damage caused by it.
