Dangerous section of the path: water, mud and leaves

This part of the the cycle path seems to always be extra wet when it rains with water coming down from the field above, which puddles on the path and creates a layer of ice in the winter. This time of year it's also covered in leaves and mud which makes it particularly slippery and dangerous.
