  • Last night 7th Dec 2024 more rain / flooding caused all the mud and debris from village to wash down and flood outside Lavender Cottage where the drain is blocked ( has been for 3 years!!! ) - this has left a muddy , slippy mess which is very dangerous

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding. Bloxham is due to be visited to by our Gully Gang in July/August 2025 where all units within the village will be attended to. Kind regards
