Previously reported in august ref 6404795 informed fixed but is not. 3 drains from hillside farm heading towards banbury when it rains pedestrians get soaked as road and pavement flood

  • This still hasn't been done from what can be seen? New to the area and the drains are blocked up.

  • There are 3 drains blocked on this road. This is the one that causes all the flooding that splashes the primary school children as they walk to school

  • We are due another massive storm (Éowyn) and this has still not been fixed, and no update has been provided. This is one of the main issues of the flooding that has blighted the village in the past few months.

  • More heavy rain this morning. The road is so badly flooded that it is now higher than the pavement level and it is impossible to distinguish between road and pavement. This needs attention immediately!!

  • Thank you for your report. We have concluded our assessment and closed this report. According to our information, this issue was resolved late last year. Information of future works - Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding. Bloxham area is due to be visited to by our Gully Gang in July/August 2025 where all units within the village and surrounding will be attended to. Kind regards
