No signage/markings for end of cycle path

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 14:44, Tue 19 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Some cyclists continue to cycle on the footpath after the end on the cycle path from culham. Including on the bridge by the Nags head, they shout at pedestrians or ring the bell, presumably expecting them to step into the road so they can continue to cycle on the path. Maybe it’s because there’s a lack of sign age for the end of cycle path.

  • There is a sign. It is way back by Colmoor Farm. That is where the cycle path ends. But expecting cyclists to be considerate and read, let alone obey, a traffic sign is wishful thinking to say the least.
