The ditch / brook often floods over the Chinnor to Thame Road.

The ditch is full of vegetation , branches , trees and General rubbish. It would really help alleviate future flooding if this was cleared out as has been done recently in Sydenham. Thanks. Alan

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue in Thame Road to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish of Chinnor is scheduled for gully emptying in the second quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe. Your report has been closed, and we are dedicated to taking the necessary actions promptly to address the issue. Ditches would belong to the adjacent land owner and if this is still an issue moving forward the team will liaise with the land owner to clear the ditch.
