Since the flooding in Wheatley I’ve had issues with the drainage ditch not flowing to the main drain due to a suspected blockage. The level of standing water in my garden raises and lowers throughout the day even over 2 weeks since last receiving rain. The lawn is also waterlogged and with rain will get a lot worse. I can’t see the entrance to the culvert so it could be blocked at the entrance or in it I’m not sure.

We are pleased to inform you that Wheatley is scheduled for gully emptying in the first quarter of this financial year, April-June 2025.
