Temporary "Flood" still in place weeks after the flood had happened
Reported via mobile in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 11:24, Monday 4 November 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Deep water, "a flood", had developed on the bend in the road as a result of a burst water main. Flood signs were put out warning motorists whilst repairs were ongoing. Repairs were made, the flood dried up. That was over a month ago, yet the warning signs are still in place.

You requested photographs for which i would have to stop. It would not be safe to do so on this fast moving A road. And I'm not sure that you actually need photographs to know what two triangular warning signs with the word "Flood" look like.

Thank you for your report. Due to further wet weather, these will stay in place for now. As there have been numerous issues with severe weather, flood boards have been erected over the county, these will eventually be collected.
