Road markings / Road signage / grass on verge

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This is an extensive list: Road markings - not just in Abingdon but the whole of the Oxfordshire area need road markings redone

Signage across the region is poor. Dirty road signs are hard to read. Please can this be done. Looks uncared for and does not show the county in a good light

Grass growing along roadways. Oxford Road in Abingdon. Trees beginning to grow wild through the curbs etc

Has this not been flagged before by Highways operatives working in these areas?

  • Yes, the council stopped caring about real issues like this years ago. total waste of our money. too many rainbows to paint. no point wasting your time reporting such basic maintenance issues. need to elect better councillors.

  • Thank you for your report. Maintenance works are scheduled from either reports received from the Highway Inspectors or reports received from the public about specific locations, we schedule both sign and road marking maintenance from these reports.
