Weeds on road edge of pavement in Wood St, St Peter's St, Thames St

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:25, Fri 1 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The residents are trying to keep the weeds at bay on the pavement to avoid the council pulling up the hollyhocks, which give character to the conservation area, but weeds on the road are in urgent need of attention. Could these be dealt with by the council please?

  • A neighbour and I spoke to Tony this morning, who was weeding the pavement at the end with the houses and explained that we were trying to keep that bit of St Peter's St tidy but are desperate for someone to do the bit between the pavement and the road, as mentioned. He said that wasn't his responsibility but he would try to pass the message on. So frustrating to have a workman available but not authorised to do the bit we'd asked to be weeded!
