Potholes on public walkways and blocked drain

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 14:47, Friday 1 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

To whom it may concern, I would like to report damage of public walkways and blocked public drainage gully. Inappropriate parking of heavy vehicles have resulted in cracks and potholes on the pavement as well as access way whereby clean water and foul water pipes are located beneath the ground. A gully drain located along this access way is also blocked as a result of mud, leaves and inappropriate disposal of building waste.

This is a concern in terms of the effect this could have on local properties regarding flood risk. In relation to cracks and potholes, this is a hazard for citizens, vehicles and potential damage caused underground on pipes. If the drain could be unblocked, investigation to ensure no underground pipes have been damaged and this walkway/access way have new tarmac laid to ensure an even level, this would be most appropriate and appreciated
