Danger to life Pothole
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Enormous pothole near the entrance to the school. This is enough to blow out a tyre or cause a motorcyclist to be thrown from their bike. The ditches also very clearly need to be cleared out due to flooding!

Our cars front nearside tyre was destroyed by this pothole on Wednesday Nov 6th. My wife and son were lucky that it has runflat tyres so could be driven the 1.5 miles home. On the way home I followed another vehicle that had a puncture and whilst coming through Pangbourne village at the roundabout, another residence flagged my car down to report that she had just walked back as she had hit the pothole and been stranded. This needs to be fixed ASAP, I travelled along this road today Friday 8th and it is still there.

It is not possible to take a photo of this pothole as it is on a fast busy road. I pass this pothole multiple times a day and it is getting larger and more difficult to avoid. It is almost impossible to avoid if a car is coming the other way.

I hit this huge pot hole tonight in the dark and so lucky that it didn’t destroy my tyre, the bang was enormous. It’s ridiculous it this has been there for weeks and is not yet repaired. Due to the damage to vehicles it has apparently already caused and the potential to cause a serious accident I trust that this will be treated as the highest priority and be repaired immediately

I have now raised this will Cllrs Kevin Bulmer, Peter Dragonetti, and Liz Leffman, Ben Stanmore and Gemma Campbell at Oxfordshire CC are also in the loop.
They are all aware of how many vehicles have been damaged/affected by this.
