Three way lights used by Thames Water at the by-pass roundabout/Wantage Road is causing very long traffic jam during peak hours and causing massive pollution.

Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 09:16, Fri 1 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Three way lights are causing traffic queues over half mile long and causing massive pollution and time wasting. The number of cars getting out of Wallingford is small compared to hundreds of vehicles using the A4130 by-pass. Using the lights to manage the traffic on the A4130 only and allowing the local traffic to exit without the lights specially peak time will help our planet and road users. Local traffic can easily enter the roundabout between the light change on the main road. Please inspect the problem during peak time/asap and instruct Thames Water to change the lighting arrangement and use a workman to help during peak time.
