Dangerous merge from cycle lane to road

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category by Rachel Williams at 08:49, Friday 1 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Cycle lane on pavement joins road just as road splits to a left turn/straight on lane. This results in cars often driving to the left into the left turn lane just as the cycle lane is merging into the road, which is a huge risk for collision. Suggest addition of a few bollards marking the join as seen in other cycle lane joining the carriageway (for example at bottom of Headley way approaching marston road junction)
