Compacated mud and potholes

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 17:26, Thursday 31 October 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The section of road between Waterperry and Worminghall (which both Oxfordshire & Bucks claim they're not responsible for) is currently covered in compacted mud, which when even slightly damp is as slippery as ice. Last week my husband was cycling along there, manoeuvred to avoid one of the many potholes and, due to the extremely slippery surface, came off his bike and broke his arm. Thankfully there was no other traffic around, otherwise the result could have been even more serious and possibly catastrophic.
