Culvert crushed, contributed to recent flooding
Reported via desktop in the Other category by Stacey Prigent at 12:37, Thu 31 October 2024
Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Due to building work in Caulcott over the past two years, the culvert on South Street has been crushed by heavy lorries. It has been narrowed so much, that I believe that this contributed to recent flooding in the village (23rd Sept 24), as the culvert couldn't cope with the amount of water. The building work has now been completed, so we would like the culvert to be returned to its original width, please.
