Inadequate lighting
Reported via desktop anonymously at 17:38, Wed 30 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The footpath next to Pease Place is very poorly lit, and is in almost total darkness at night. The lighting on high street is fairly poor anyway with lampposts being too far apart, but the lack of any lampposts at this end of street makes the pavement potentially unsafe with trip hazards, verges, dog muck etc and for people walking alone at night to feel unsafe.

Unfortunately Oxfordshire County Council does not have any funds available to install additional lighting as our street lighting budget is used for the energy, cost and maintenance of our existing street lights.
