Traffic Lights in Place but no repair being made

These traffic lights have now been in place for several weeks around a very small defect. There seems to have been no attempt to repair the issue or update provided on why these traffic lights have been in place for so long inconveniencing many road users. If a repair is needed please get on and do it and remove the cost to the local authority or maintaining traffic management, and the cost to road users of delay. Or explain what the delay is down to ??

  • Thank you for your report. The works are for a collapsed manhole cover should be completed by 8th November. If no problems arise we shall remove the lights on the 8th November.
