Drainage problem and hazardous potholes on Brook Street

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:59, Wednesday 23 October 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Yet again, year after year, can I again bring to your attention the hazards pot holes and water from the blocked drainage system outside my driveway on Brook Street. I am, as I have stated previously, disabled and have an above the knee amputation. I find it increasingly difficult walking from my driveway because of constant water and extremely dangerous pot holes. The larger pot hole is directly outside my driveway which I cannot avoid. When I need to put my two crutches in the boot of my car, I get splashed when inconsiderate drivers go past at speed and splash not only me but any pedestrians walking. It will obviously get increasingly dangerous as the winter approaches. Please can you do something about this problem urgently before there is an accident!! We were promised that it would have been fixed in May, but nothing happened!! Simply filling the pot holes up every year is a complete waist of time! Anthony Newell, Mulberry Barn, Brook Street, Kingston Blount
