Numerous problems in Drayton Banbury

Reported via mobile by Cllr Nina Musgrave at 09:05, Wednesday 23 October 2024

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

After meeting with our OCC engagement team office Kat Gash I have been asked to submit several issues on here. These include: 1. Weeds and kerb damage on the large corner on the main A422 leaving the village towards Wroxton 2. High levels of slippery moss on pavements on this bend, the main road, Metcalfe Close, Arden close and throughout the village. 3. Hedge and shrubbery needs cutting back adjacent areas to Metcalfe Close and Rectory Gardens 4. Numerous erosion of curbs in Metcalfe Close (you have just repaired the worst one - many thanks.)

And finally can you get someone to have a look at the traffic lights (Thames Water) on the hill towards Sor Brook bridge? Apparently they change very quickly when travelling Wroxton to Drayton and vehicles are entering the road while slow moving vehicles (tractors) are still coming through. Many thanks
