Drain is blocked with extensive vegetation growing from it. This causes the carriageway to flood completely forcing all traffic to cross into oncoming carriageway. This corner is notoriously dangerous and an accident black spot. The drain needs to be cleared frequently to keep road users safe.

  • The road floods here regularly. It is on a bend with poor visibility, and close to a turning, making it potentially dangerous as drivers move into the centre of the road to avoid the flood. Please can this be looked at urgently

We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Charlbury and Finstock is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
