Being an independent wheelchair user is almost impossible in North Oxford

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:30, Friday 18 October 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

I live in Stratfield Road and my daughter who lives in London had a serious bike accident and is with me for a long recovery. She is in a wheelchair and the effort of going from Stratfield Road to Oakthorpe Road to take a bus in Woodstock Road wheeling yourself on your own in a wheelchair is so high that a lot of times she has to go on the road; this is just an example of a disastrous path for wheelchairs in North Oxford, could give you many more. You cannot really be independent on a wheelchair in North Oxford
