Pothole repaired today. Repair lasted 2 hours. Did someone forget to add something to the repair mix?

  • I have today 03/12/24 @ 13.20hrs driven across an unavoidable pot hole outside Mellors Garage. On the A 417 between Faringdon and Wantage resulting in an immediate deflation of my front nearside tyre. The AA had to flat bed transfer my vehicle to a tyre fitters in Faringdon and I await their report on any further damaged cause by the extremely severe jolt to the vehicle. This is a very large and dangerous hole in the road surface.

  • This pot hole is still there Thursday 19th of December. At 0645 this morning on my way home from a night shift, while still dark, I hit this pot hole FULL of water which made it impossible to see. My tyre burst and my alloy is damaged. This is unacceptable considering the sheer amount of reports this has had! This pot hole WILL cause an accident if hit at speed because of how wide and deep it has become.
