The hatch cover has come off a quite deep inspection chamber on the verge

Reported via desktop in the Manhole category anonymously at 20:26, Mon 14 October 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Quite a deep inspection chamber with rings down has been exposed amid long grass on the verge about ten metres north of the bus stop opposite Canal Road into Thrupp (and pretty much opposite the southbound bus stop). It has a metal plate engraved PO as in the pic. The metal and concrete hatch is half off. A triangular red Flood warning has been placed on top of it as a temporary cover. It is potentially dangerous.
