Debris on carriageway - normally contractors remove when prompted
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 18:58, Monday 14 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I have successfully reported previously and County Council I think then contacted Contractors to clear carriageway, rather than it go to VWH. (Sorry I did not say it was construction work debris..)
Original request as there is a road safety issue caused by construction work debris:- from Boulter Drive towards Peachcroft Roundabout, in wet weather, today. Noticed a lot of debris being displaced from centre of carriageway along with coating of mud on this stretch of carriageway. Risk of accidents due to slippery surface and being distracted by bits of debris. <> Think it has worsened last few days. Thanks

Because of the marathon 20 October, if the contractors were able to remove debris and slippery mud before then, then it would also make it safer for runners. (I think it has been the contractors who have cleared rubble and mud previously)
