New Road, Bampton rainwater ditches are completely full with weeds making them useless for purpose. With high rainfall there is nowhere for it to go and will create flooding as it did in 2007! The ditches and hedges need to be regularly maintained by clearing and chopped.

  • Thank you for your enquiry which has been [assed to colleagues at West Oxfordshire District Council who are responsible for the enforcement of Land Drainage issues including the vast majority of roadside ditches , which are predominantly the responsibility of the adjacent land owner to maintain and not OCC
