Fritwell North Street/East Street- Dangerous junction, near misses every day
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:35, Thursday 10 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Good Afternoon, Please prioritise as urgent renewal of road markings at this junction.
There are several near-misses each day especially in the wet and when SatNavs divert drivers who are unfamiliar with the layout away from major route congestion on M40, A34, A43 . Seeing a stream of cars drive straight across the junction one after another is really scary.
Recent significant collisions here underline the dangers - a damaged vehicle still remains on the carriageway, abandoned. Things are not helped by tree growth obscuring the Give Way sign too.
This situation has been repeatedly raised in recent months and years. Please action what would be a simple fix - it may well save a life
Thank you
