Blocked drain causing flooding in road and across driveways
Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 16:26, Tue 8 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later
This flooding has been happening since the development down Fritillary Avenue was created. There is clearly sediment in the drains at the end of the development (outside 21/23 Greenwood Avenue) which then don’t work when it rains. Every single time it rains, the road floods. These photos were in the recent heavy storms. We cannot park on the street as the water is ankle deep. It is now affecting the driveways and entering the properties as it gets worse every time it rains.

This continues to be a problem even though a group of workmen arrived and drilled through a heap of silt that was blocking a drain outside No 21 Greenwood Avenue. Further action is required urgently
