Damage has been caused to the highway edge stones, by a very large excavator that was working in a local property. Whilst this was being loaded onto a transporter it has ripped the top of the edge stones to the highway off. There is also damage to the adjacent grass back, caused by the same persons.

The edge stones between Main Street and Stant Hill Lane (as per photograph) have been damaged by a large tracked excavator that was working in an adjacent property. This was collected from the site, but was brought onto the public highway to be loaded onto its transport. During this manoeuvre the excavator tracks have damaged a section of the highway edge stones (some of this damage is shown in the picture) The damage to the verge opposite was caused by the collection vehicle and others as the collection vehicle obstructed the highway for some considerable time.
