Crack with 1 foot cavity underneath, in pavement by railway bridge
Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:21, Wed 2 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
There is a crack in the pavement but looking into it I can see a cavity underneath, nearly 1 foot deep which could develop into a large hole.
It is located on the northern approach to the railway bridge, very near the bridge. It is on the east side of the road.

Yes, it's still an issue, I noticed it on the weekend. My impression was that it hadn't changed much.
I'll try and provide a new photo sometime this week.

I saw exactly the same two days ago. There was a guy there in a red work suit looking as though he was doing some sort of surveying and I hope that he might be from OCC (I was on the other side of the road and didn’t have time to cross over and chat)
