Crack with 1 foot cavity underneath, in pavement by railway bridge

There is a crack in the pavement but looking into it I can see a cavity underneath, nearly 1 foot deep which could develop into a large hole.

It is located on the northern approach to the railway bridge, very near the bridge. It is on the east side of the road.

  • Yes, it's still an issue, I noticed it on the weekend. My impression was that it hadn't changed much.

    I'll try and provide a new photo sometime this week.

  • I saw exactly the same two days ago. There was a guy there in a red work suit looking as though he was doing some sort of surveying and I hope that he might be from OCC (I was on the other side of the road and didn’t have time to cross over and chat)

    Hi! I cycled past this morning and took these pics of the hole, a sort of crude drain in the neighbouring verge and what looks like an amateur filling of a smaller hole.
