Road markings to indicate lanes

Reported via Android in the Road Markings category anonymously at 22:48, Friday 27 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Travelling northbound towards Peartree Roundabout on A44, there is not enough information enough in advance about which lane is for continuing on the A44. If you stay in the second from left lane, you suddenly get a road marking very close to the roundabout to say it's a left turn only onto the A34. This results in a rapid change of lane close to the roundabout. If you do follow it to the left though, there actually is a dedicated lane you could join back onto the roundabout. Please look into giving better and more advanced information on which lane is which. Thank you.
