The highway along Wallingford Road frequently floods

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category by Chris Curtis at 10:17, Friday 27 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later

Flooding along the highway deters users from walking in the area as it makes some parts of the footway long Wallingford Road inaccessible. I have asked for photos to be provided. This has been an issue since at least May 2024.

  • I’ve also attached three photo’s of flooding on Wallingford road between the Red Lion pub and Goldfinch Lane. The photo’s were extracted from my dashcam – ordinarily I’d walk or cycle to the shops but after the heavy overnight rain I figured the road would be flooded and so took the car instead, and I’d imagine I’m not the only one to do this.
