Road drains not functioning resulting in the road called ‘West End’ (between Mayfield Cottage and Christmas Cottage) being increasingly flooded across the full width and approx 20 feet in length since 23.09.24 pm during sustained heavy rains. Depth of water several inches. Causing risk of flooding to property.

Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at West End to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Stonesfield and Tackley is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
