Pavement Drainage Problem
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 14:11, Monday 23 September 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Just outside the St John's school entrance the path pools with water when there is persistent rain. This has been like this for years but has recently got a lot worse. The path is already narrow due to overgrown vegetation (already been reported) and the puddles that form cover the entire width of the path, probably 2m in length and quite deep (ankle deep). This is a problem because during busy school drop off and pick up times the children cannot use the path safely without having to get their feet wet which is not ideal for a full day at school. This morning I had to cross to the other side of the road and go around the puddle and then cross back over which isn't particularly safe with the busy roads in the morning.
