Raised pavement design error causing issues for partially sighted
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 20:12, Thursday 19 September 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I reported a design issue to a raised area of pavement on the High Street outside the Clock tower in Kidlington. This is a dangerous design feature for the partially sighted. An elderly lady tripped on this raised area of pavement recently and face planted on the road.
You state this fault has been fixed. It has not been fixed. All you have done is put some mortar in the pavement cracks.
The raised pavement still exists and I state again it is a dangerous design for the partially sighted. This raised area of pavement needs removing before it causes further injury.
