Dangerous stretch of road
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 10:43, Sun 15 September 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
This section of road has become increasingly busy over the past years and a large percentage of vehicles are travelling at dangerously high speeds. There is a speed indicating device located along this section of road and if monitored it soon becomes obvious that that a lot of the traffic is ignoring the 30mph speed limit. This has a significant impact on the quality of life of those residents living alongside that section of road and also poses a high risk to the safety of residents, pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. This issue has been reported to the police, but they do not seem to want to help. Is it possible that something could be done to reduce the safety risk for those mentioned above and improve the quality of life for the residents living alongside this country road?
