Significant silt/mud build-up in drain on road at edge of bank. Rainwater not draining away and causing some flooding on road which threatens to run into house opposite. This part of road is at lower end of village and receives large amount of water from higher ground when heavy rainfall. We have yet to have continued poor weather and already the drain cannot cope with amount of water. This problem occurred last year and was reported. The drain was cleared and this helped. The blockage has returned, however. Thank you for your prompt attention with this matter.
