40 foot stretch of damaged / degraded pavement

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:23, Thu 12 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The pavement along church view running from opposite the road to Sanford field is a state of disrepair. It has been like this for the last 5 years, although i suppose it has deteriorated further in that time. Other than being an annoyance and an eyesore this was not particularity concerning. However, now there are young children in my family I have lost track of the number of times they have tripped over on this stretch of pavement. Additionally, there are frequently large numbers of tourists visiting this street and it's probably only a matter of time until one of them trips over too (many of them are elderly!) The pavement clearly needs resurfacing (I know paving stones are too much to ask for although they would fit with the aesthetic of the street much better than tarmac!). Lastly, it may be worth mentioning there is only a pavement on one side of the street so there are no alternative routes.
