Road sign post extensively rusted hole at base

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 20:00, Wednesday 11 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Good evening, on Bucknell Road Bicester between lamp posts 52 and 53 there is a large road sign indicating the roundabout / junction etc. There is a very large hole in the base of one of the supporting posts. The edges of the hole are clearly extensively rusted and I am wondering if there is potential danger of a collapse onto the road and or pavement. The other post is not so visible due to the longer grass. FYI.
